GRAMMY TWICE BLESSED -- God blessed me on June 6, 2008, TWICE. Twins were born to my daughter that brought so much joy and blessings to our family. This blog is primarily about Carson and Ruby, with a touch of some of my other blessings once in a while.

Halloween Gifts
Aunt Stephanie has always been the best gift-giver to my girls, and now to the twins. She sent a box of Halloween gifts that the children opened Halloween evening. Here Ruby is loving the musical card that played a Cinderella song. (she would have been perfectly happy with just the card and got lots of enjoyment from it). But of course, the Ladybug Girl was a HUGE hit!
Thanks Great Auntie Steph and Great Uncle Jimmy!
Random Fun
Kristin and Casey are convinced that one day Carson will take his Pooh-car with him to college! He has ridden this toy car since he was about 14 months old when a friend of mine passed it along to the twins. His knees practically scrap along the floor as he flies around the kitchen. He has a big-boy bike, hot wheel and Plasma-car outside. But this Pooh-car still remains a great tool to get his boundless energy out, when it is too cold or rainy to venture outside.
Saturday In The Park
Kristin took these one Saturday when they had gone to the local park and public gardens. Love how that little Ruby is making a fashion statement with her leopard top, tutu and beaded shoes!

Nanny Rach In Europe
Rachael (aka Nanny Rach) is currently in Austria at a Calvary Chapel training/retreat center for 3 months. I'm so proud of her for following her dream and seeking the Lord's will for her life. Rachael is growing so much in her faith and as a person as she studies and serves others. Here is her blog site http://rachaelstriptoeurope.blogspot.com/

Halloween is Coming
Kristin just emailed this to me. I think someone is wanting to be a princess for Halloween. Recently, I have used the princess-card with Ruby -- when I want her to do something that she doesn't want to do, I say "That's how a Princess does it!", and she will suddenly be interested in doing it that way. Ahh, if it were that easy for the next 15 years........

Kruger Farm, Sauvie Island
With Grandma Carrie still out of town, Grandpa Ray volunteered to help me with the children on Saturday. We went to the pumpkin patch on Sauvie Island and had such a great time. I couldn't have done it alone and I was so grateful to him for his Grandfatherly love and assistance.
Ray took a picture with his cell and was sending to to Kristin and Casey in Napa and to Carrie and Lindsey in Ashland. Everyone knew we were having fun!
