Easter at Grandma Carrie's and Grandpa Ray's -- What could be better? The weather cooperated so we could enjoy lunch outside and have lots more fun -- like playing soccer, egg hunt and blowing bubbles. It was a grand day.
Below is Ruby's gorgeous French braids, compliments of Nanny Rach (who had driven down for the weekend).
(Remember, if you double click on the photos, it enlarges all of them for a better peek!)
We were also joined by Carrie's niece and nephew, Mack and Savannah. They were a HUGE hit with the kids --
Below Mack is trying to keep up with Carson for a 1 on 1 soccer match. I think Mack met his match! Go Carson. . .
"LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU BUDDY!"
Carson is absolutely fearless against this giant of a cousin! He was weaving and bobbing in-between Mack's legs with complete ease and skill.
Let the egg hunt begin! Ruby found her first BIG egg.
We hear there are some eggs in Grandma Carrie's garden!
Carson kept following real closely to Ruby -- we tried to encourage him to find his own spot to hunt.
Buddy, Ruby saw that one first!
Now that's not an Easter egg! Carson found a little green frog that provided lots of entertainment. Look closely among the rocks. Froggy managed to hop away before he got put into their basket.
A little assistance from Grandpa Easter Bunny!
Kristin was back in Boston for the marathon, so Casey was trying out her new birthday camera.
Now it's time to sort through the loot. Cousin Savannah was closely watching.
Aunt Lindsey and Nanny Rach gave a hand to Ruby.
(Oh by the way -- Ruby had styled her Aunt Lindsey's hair too!)
Cousin Mack was a good sport -- he provided lots of fun for Carson!
"Ah, Grandma Julee. You put underwear in my giant eggs, again!"
Carson asks "What ARE Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?" That was the only characters I could find in his size. So now he knows more super heros!

I've never have seen two kids get so excited about raisins and crasins before.
(It's hard to fill Easter eggs when candy isn't an option!).

Nanny Rach gave the kids really cute bubbles, which were a big hit!
For some reason, the photo below reminds me so much of Kristin at this age. I see it in her face.
"I caught one!"
Savannah got into the mix, while Carson focused on popping them!
Pretty soon all the cousins were popping the bubbles.
Karate chop to the bubbles!
"What's that fur doing on your chin?"
Carson wanted to shoot some baskets, so Mack volunteered to be the hoop!
Casey's new toy. 1965 Mustang.
He can teach his boy all about engines.
The kids had to give Mack one last hug good bye. They really enjoyed their big cousins.
A few selfies with Nanny Rach. Ruby thought it only fair that if Nanny Rach did her hair, then Ruby needed to do Rachael's hair -- hence the crown.
Love those missing teeth, Buddy!
