Love the Cute Sayings........

Grandma Carrie took the twins to the elementary school to play.
There is a large soccer field.
Ruby said "A mole hole. I see a mole hole!"
Nanny Rach took the kids on a walk and Ruby let out a loud sigh and said
"It's beginning to be a long day!"
Ruby asks her Nanny Rach to sing either Jesus Loves Me or Amazing Grace
when it is nap time. In the evenings Ruby wants ONLY her Daddy to sing those to her!
Nanny Rach had the kids in the back yard and Ruby saw some Sonny poop.
Rachael said "Don't go near it. Go around it". To which Ruby proceeded to walk around and around and around it -- like Nanny Rach said! (Kids are so literal!)
Today I got a text from Nanny Rach. Ruby asked her if she could put on her gloves. Then Ruby spontaneously started to pray
"Thank you God for my pink gloves that match my new
pink pants and boots. Amen"

Carson Antics

Carson is turning into a pack-rat. He loves to "hide things". His latest is to open up the seat on his Pooh-car and fill it full of toys -- to the point where he can hardly sit on it because it is so full and bulging. But he still manages to fly round the kitchen island at incredible speeds! We think he has put 100's of miles on this Pooh-car since my friend, Cheri, gave it to them as a hand-me-down from her granddaughters. (Thank you again Cheri. Hours and hours of entertainment for Carson, especially.)

"Ballerina Dress"

Today Ruby had on this adorable tie-dyed dress that Kristin got at a consignment shop. It had a sparklie PEACE sign on the front with a flared skirt. She would twirl around and say it is her "ballerina dress".
(of course Carson would also twirl and say he was a ballerina, too!)

Overheard This Morning!

I was upstairs in Carson's room playing with the kids this morning. I was reading to Carson and Ruby was close by playing on the floor........
"Someone has poopy diapers!"
"Carson, do you have poopy diapers?"
"No, Ruby has poopy diapers."
"Ruby, do you have poopy diapers?"
"No, Carson has poopy diapers?"
"Carson, do you have poopy diapers?"
"No, Grandma has poopy diapers!"
(Well, I can assure you it wasn't me........... Can you guess which one?)

AMEN!

Bill and I are down at Kristin's taking care of the twins. She is participating in the Hood to Coast, 197 mile relay race -- again this year. Her team from Adidas are 12 people in two vans. They started at 6:45 AM today at the top of Mt. Hood and will complete it tomorrow at the Oregon Coast. Their team name -- EVERYTHING HURTS!
This morning Carson was quietly praying before breakfast..... "Thank you for Mommy and Daddy, and Grandpa Bill, and Sonny, and Grandpa Bill, and thank you for the food, and Grandpa Bill......."
Ruby had been quietly praying with him, but I think she was hungry, so after the 3rd. Grandpa Bill, she spoke out in a loud voice
"AMEN!"

Random Fun!

Riding her alligator. At the park.
This video was taken one day when I was taking care of the munchkins! They decided to ride their stuffed animals, but Carson got off the hippo to give Ruby a ride.

A Boy and His Dog -- Sonny Come!

I was on the deck with the kids, when all of a sudden Carson ran to the gate and yelled for Sonny! It was so cute. His intonation and pitch was just like you would imagine someone who was calling their dog. Ruby was getting a kick out of it and you can hear her laughter in the background. Their deck has two gates, and Sonny was at the other gate, waiting to come in! Finally he gets the idea and comes around to where his boy was waiting for him. Little Sis runs right over to the gate and I think she would have let Sonny out, but she isn't real great at opening up the latch.

Carson-isms!

Today Kristin and Casey went to church and the twins had a good time in the nursery. When Kristin picked up the kids, she asked Carson "What did you learn about in Sunday School today?"
His reply "Ritz crackers!"
Carson's newest thing to do at bedtime is to tell Kristin what he wants for breakfast and then sing
"Deep and Wide"!
(I love it)

"One More Book, Grandma Julee"

My car was all packed to drive back home and the kids wanted just one more story. Ruby selected THE POTTY BOOK! So we read the potty book, twice. I think they were very interested in learning all they can about it. Don't they look enthralled?
