GRAMMY TWICE BLESSED -- God blessed me on June 6, 2008, TWICE. Twins were born to my daughter that brought so much joy and blessings to our family. This blog is primarily about Carson and Ruby, with a touch of some of my other blessings once in a while.

New Sand Box
We decided to make the new plastic pool into a sand box. Ruby was all over it. She couldn't wait to get in and get sand between toes! Carson, on the other hand, wanted nothing to do with getting all sandy. He insisted on playing with the toys from the outside. It wasn't until Casey got into the sand that Carson finally got in. Then for the longest time he squatted and didn't sit in it. Finally he sat down and enjoyed himself. They both cried when it was time to eat lunch and get a nap.

Blue Lake Park Triathlon - July 31, 2010
Today Kristin did another triathlon. This was a "sprint" level. I was able to go with them, and the twins came too. Casey is such a supportive husband to Kristin's endeavors!

Personalized Bags
I got the kids new bags. They took to them right away, but thought they were to play in! Ruby played in hers for the longest time and took toys in to play with. Carson was being busy getting in and out and in and out. Ruby accidentally rolled over and out and was not happy. You can see that in the video below.

SUMMER TIME
Just got these fun pictures from Grandma Carrie's cell phone. They are all out on the water today in Grandpa Ray's boat. Ruby, of course, is being a fashion statement, even with her life-vest! Carson is all about driving the boat. He would drive ANYTHING with a steering wheel! Look at how relaxed and laid back Ruby is and how intense her brother is! Have fun guys! Wish I was there.....

Triathlon for Kristin!
July 11, 2010
This was Kristin's first triathlon since she was 10 years old (in which she came in first in her age group). This was a novice division since it was her first as an adult and she wanted to get a taste for this type of racing. Thank you Casey for supporting her and taking these photos, since we couldn't be there.
Kristin placed SECOND woman and EIGHTH overall in the Novice Race. "Way to go KJ!" We are so proud....
Kristin has gotten reconnected with Emily through Facebook, a gal she played club volleyball with in high school. Emily is very much into these kinds of races and encouraged Kristin to do it, even loaning her an extra wetsuit. Emily drove down from Coupeville, WA and spent the weekend with Kristin and together they did the race. Kristin said Emily hasn't changed a bit since high school, except now she has a degree in physical therapy and is doing what she has always wanted to do -- she is a PT.
